Day 2 (Part 3): Baphuon

Baphuon from afar. At this point, we are quite tired and hungry. But it's only 10am in the morning. We only had a packet of biscuit for breakfast. Though that's not true to Kaiyi who had more than that.

Kaiyi dragging her super hungry body...

We can't climb the stairs as the main building is under restoration. The reason why this temple is falling apart is due to bad architecture. The base was not strong enough to hold what's built on top. That's why the temple is falling apart.

After the short trip to Baphuon, we stop to buy a coconut. US$1 each. The coconut juice is not cold at all, although it has been soaked in ice water for quite sometime. Of course it's not cold. The coldness can't even penetrate the thick husk. Wha liao...

After drinking, take the coconut to the vendor and they will break it into two halves for you. Spoon? Don't worry, a piece of the husk is cut off to function as a spoon. Cool!
After the cool down session, a huge lizard drop down from a tree, in front of Kaiyi. Xiulan looks on a staring session between the two of them.
